WageDex publishes its full national and state occupational wage datasets as free CSV downloads, covering 830+ occupations from the BLS OEWS May 2025 release.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics OEWS survey, each file carries occupation codes and titles, employment, mean and median annual wages, and the 10th/25th/75th/90th percentile bands, the exact figures rendered on WageDex pages, with no estimates or modeled fill-ins. Reuse is welcome with attribution.

Download CSV →What's inside, exactly
- Columns: SOC occupation code and title, total employment, mean annual wage, median annual wage, and the 10th, 25th, 75th, and 90th percentile annual wages (plus the state name in the state file).
- Vintage: BLS OEWS May 2025 reference period, published spring 2026; the next annual release is expected in spring 2027 and these files refresh within 30 days of it.
- Cleaning: occupation and area names standardized against a fixed SOC/area crosswalk; cells BLS suppresses for confidentiality are left empty, never estimated.
- Provenance: every value is the same database figure the WageDex pages render, download and site can be cross-checked row by row.
License & reuse
The underlying wage figures are produced by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and are in the public domain as a U.S. government work. WageDex's cleaned, standardized compilation (the files above) is licensed CC BY 4.0 - reuse it freely in research, journalism, or products, with attribution to WageDex and BLS. The download URLs above are stable.
Every figure on WageDex is rendered directly from U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, no number is typed in by an editor. The downloadable files are generated live from the same database every WageDex page reads.
