Overview
WageDex ("we," "our," or "us") operates wagedex.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
The short version: We collect almost nothing. No cookies, no personal data, no tracking.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics tool. Umami collects only aggregate, anonymous usage data such as page views, referrer information, and browser type. It does not:
- Use cookies or any form of persistent storage
- Collect personal information
- Track users across websites
- Collect IP addresses (they are anonymized)
Umami is self-hosted on our own infrastructure, so no data is shared with third parties.
Data We Do Not Collect
WageDex does not collect, store, or process:
- Names, email addresses, or other personal identifiers
- Account information (we have no user accounts)
- Financial or payment data
- Location data beyond country-level (from anonymized analytics)
Search Functionality
When you use our salary search feature, your search queries are processed on our servers to return results. We do not log or store individual search queries.
Third-Party Services
WageDex is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process minimal technical data (such as IP addresses) for security and performance purposes in accordance with their privacy policy.
Your Rights
Since we collect no personal data, there is typically nothing to access, correct, or delete. However, if you believe we hold any data about you, or if you have questions, contact us at privacy@wagedex.com.
For residents of California (CCPA), the EU (GDPR), or other jurisdictions with privacy regulations: we respect your rights under applicable law. Since we do not collect personal data, most data-subject requests are not applicable.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
